Eating Disorder Therapy

Accepting New Clients in Person in Alpharetta, Georgia, and Online across Georgia

Helping teens and women understand and transform your relationship with food so that you can respect and honor your body.

Do you feel overwhelmed by addiction, or by something from your past? Are you having trouble engaging in self-care, social activities, or important obligations? Do you feel like you’re stuck in unhealthy patterns?

Together, we will find the root of these issues so you can live without trauma, addiction, or unhealthy relationships getting in the way of the person you want to become.

What is Eating Disorder Therapy?

Eating Disorders do not discriminate. They can impact anyone regardless of body size, race, gender, age, and sexual orientation. I specialize in treating females, transgender and gender non-binary individuals ages 10 through later adulthood. It takes significant courage to reach out for help for your eating disorder. I understand how challenging the recovery process can be, and I work closely with several Intensive Outpatient, Day Treatment, and Residential eating disorder programs if you need additional support.

My initial goal is to create a safe and secure therapeutic atmosphere where you can trust me with your vulnerabilities. Next, I focus on helping you build mindfulness and emotional awareness while improving distress tolerance skills. Throughout our work together, you will understand the emotions that drive your disordered eating behaviors. In time you will learn to lean into and fully experience your emotions without needing to numb them with disordered eating.
